Nano Nagle Place just announced its Christmas Markets schedule for 2024

By Yay Cork October 30, 2024October 29, 2024

Christmas is always magical at Nano Nagle Place.

And while we might not have finished with Halloween yet, we couldn’t resist a peek at their Christmas market schedule for 2024.

The Douglas Street venue is already spreading the festive cheer, dropping hints about their epic 2024 Christmas Market schedule. Get ready for a series of magical outdoor markets, including an Antiquarian Book Market for all you literary elves.

Plus, their annual A Christmas Carol production is back to warm your cockles (and maybe inspire a Scrooge-like redemption arc for yourself? ).

Here are the dates to pop in the calendar:

  • Antiquarian Book Market | 7th December | 11am-4pm
Discover a curated selection of new and pre-loved books, spanning a variety of genres. Whether you’re shopping for a unique gift or adding to your own collection, this market offers something for everyone.
  • Christmas Markets | 14th, 15th, 21st & 22nd December | 11am-4pm
Nano Nagle Place will play host to an array of gifts made by local artists and designers. Visitors can enjoy holiday shopping, seasonal treats, and the vibrant atmosphere in the heart of this historic site.
  • Christmas Carol | 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th December | 7pm and 3pm on 7th & 8th
Back by popular demand, Oceans of Notions Theatre Company and Nano Nagle Place are bringing A Christmas Carol to the iconic Goldie Chapel once again. The performances will take place from Thursday, 5th December to Sunday, 8th December at 7pm, with special afternoon shows on Saturday and Sunday at 3pm. Keep an eye on the website and social media for more information and tickets.

There will also be a cheerful challenge open to local crafters in the Nano Nagle Place Decoration Competitions, and a charming Children’s Christmas Trail.

Stay tuned for more deets, but this is definitely one to bookmark for those pre-Christmas pressie sprees.
