Gather up all your ghosts and ghouls.

The Toy Library is hosting a Halloween Dress and Decoration Swap Day in Fitzgerald’s Park, Cork on Sunday, October 13th.

“As the spooky season approaches, we all love to dress up and decorate, but often, costumes and decorations are used just once.” say the organisers.

“Instead of buying new, why not swap? This event is your chance to trade last year’s Halloween costumes and decorations for something fresh and fun – all while reducing waste and saving money!”

Here’s how it all works:

Costumes: Bring your gently used costumes and find new ones for the kids (and adults). From witches to superheroes, there will be a variety of sizes and styles on offer.

Decorations Exchange:  Tired of your old Halloween décor? Swap your Halloween props and decorations for something new to spruce up your haunted house.

Repair Cafe: Do you have a beloved costume that needs a bit of TLC? Bring it with you, and one of the Toy Library volunteers will try to help you give it a new lease of life.
