All these Cork cafés have joined the Coffee for Palestine giving campaign

Even your morning brew can make a difference.
Various Cork cafés and restaurants have joined the Coffee for Palestine fundraising drive to raise money for three important charities doing vital work in Gaza.
Organised by Eman Alkarajeh from Cafe Izz, Deirdre Breen from Studio Boon, and Clare Condon from Good Day Deli, Coffee for Palestine is asking cafés to pledge ten cups of coffee sold on their premises to the fundraiser from September 23rd to 29th, 2024.
“We are a group of cafes and restaurants raising funds for the children of Palestine.” the group announced on social media.
“We aim to raise €2,500 for three charities as chosen by Eman from Café Izz, Cork. They are Al Tamayuz School in North Gaza, Ele Elna Elak and Children Not Numbers.

“We are calling on our cafe friends to join us and help us reach our goal. Let’s make a difference together.”
The list of coffee spots taking part already includes Diva in Ballinspittle, Good Day Deli and Cork Flower Studio on Douglas Street, Bakestone in Carrigtwohill and Fota House, Good for the Soul in Ballincollig, Seeds and The Black Pig in Kinsale, Pike Deli in Clonakilty, Myo, Izz Café, L’Attitude 51 and The Bookshelf in Cork city and Pop Crowley’s in Macroom.
More venues are being added daily.
If you own a café and you’d like to get involved, you can register here. The rest of us can swing by the listed cafés throughout the week and help them hit (and hopefully surpass) their fundraising target.
