Cork’s Alpine Skate Trail is moving to a new city location this winter

Get your skates on.
We might still be in flip-flops, but the folks behind the winter wonderland Alpine Skate Trail are already getting excited about the colder months.
Cool Running Events, which has run the fun skating attraction in Fota House & Gardens since 2021, just announced a new Cork City location.
This year, the Alpine Skate Trail will be located in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, opening on November 8th, 2024 and running along a 150-metre trail under the North Stand of the stadium.
The ice will, once again, be the real deal, supplied by Austrian ice rink suppliers AST and sessions will run for 50 minutes, with a host of food and beverage supplier to be revealed at the new destination soon.
“That’s right – Ireland’s best ice skating experience through the North Stand of The Páirc.” the company revealed on its website.
“Early Bird tickets on sale now for just €14.”
The attraction has received stellar reviews from visiting families and groups for years so if you want to nab early bird tickets (available now via their website) you can be guaranteed a fun day out.
