Cork’s Cask crew are Big Apple bound for a pop-up at New York’s Dead Rabbit

Start spreadin’ the news.

Still reeling from a hat trick for his second bar Paladar at the Bar of the Year Awards on Monday night, Cork’s king of cocktails Andy Ferreira is leading the crew from his first bar Cask to the Big Apple this September.

Ferreira and Cask MacCurtain Street colleagues Seán Hill and Harry Broadhurst are heading to New York on September 4th to stage a pop-up at the famous Dead Rabbit, returning the favour after the world-renowned bar staged a takeover at Cask.

“Earlier this year, our very own Ian Alexander popped up on MacCurtain Street, representing The Dead Rabbit in The Rebel City. And now, Andy Ferreira, Seán Hill, and Harry Broadhurst are returning the favour, bringing their famed Cork City cocktail bar, Cask, to our Occasional Room for one night only, in partnership with Bord Bia.” The Dead Rabbit team announced on Instagram.

“Opened in 2017, this multi-award-winning venue is renowned for its cutting-edge, seasonal, nature-led cocktails, with a menu that changes every twelve weeks, depending on which wild ingredients are available.

“Named Best Cocktail Experience at the Food & Wine Restaurant of the Year Awards 2022 and featured in the Tales of The Cocktail Spirited Awards top ten, Andy and his create incredible drinks, served with warm Irish hospitality – and now, they’re coming to NYC.”

If you happen to find yourself in New York on September 4th, you can join them from 7pm – 10pm with walk-ins welcome. Be sure to arrive early to secure a front-row seat.
