Met Éireann says it will be ‘warm, humid and generally dry’ in Cork this weekend

Could summer be making a comeback?
The latest forecast from Met Éireann shows it’s a possibility, with temperatures set to start climbing again into the weekend.
While the remainder of Thursday will be dull with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle occurring through the day, a few late sunny spells are expected to develop locally later on. It will remain humid with highs of 17 to 21 degrees.

“Friday will be a brighter day with a mix of sunny spells and just well scattered showers.” said a forecaster.
Many areas will be dry for the evening hours with highest temperatures of 18 to 22 degrees.
Looking ahead to the weekend, the outlook isn’t bad.
Saturday is expected to bring highs of 18 to 23 degrees, warmest and driest across Leinster and Munster, and while there’s still some uncertainty regarding Sunday, current indications suggest it will be generally dry early on with hazy sunny spells and highs of 19 to 25 degrees.
