If you love a cuddly toy, Cork’s new Squish Space will make your day
Attention, cuddle monsters.
If you find it impossible to walk past a shop window overflowing with those gloriously squishy plushie things without wanting to squeeze the ever-loving stuffing out of a giant unicorn with a rainbow mane, there’s something you should see.
A new Squish Space has landed in Brown Thomas Cork and if you’re a fan of Jellycats, Steiff Bears and Squishmallows, this is going to be your idea of heaven.
Yes, you heard that right. A whole designated zone dedicated to the pure, unadulterated joy of squishable toys, from burgers and fuzzy donuts to furry avocados, footballs, rainbows and animals.
The place is stuffed with adorable bears and Squishmallows in every single colour, size and design you can imagine (and something to suit all budgets and ages, whether you’re looking for a baby present or treating a little shopper to a pressie), they stock keyrings, slippers and bags too.
Our favourite dopamine dresser Shauna Doyle went to check it out:

It’s a floor-to-ceiling plushie paradise with enough variety to make your inner child do a jig. And no judgment if you just want to pop in for a look for yourself.
