You can catch some top-notch trad over dinner and cocktails on the South Mall this weekend

Brought to you by The Imperial Hotel.
We love a bit of trad’.
The thing is, a proper session is usually something that happens in a small venue with a limited selection of drinks and food.
Not this weekend however; this Saturday you can settle in for a raucous traditional music session in the comfy confines of the beautiful No. 76 Bar at The Imperial Hotel on the South Mall.
The Rambling House will be setting up for a fabulous night’s entertainment at No.76 from 8.30pm on the night.
As well as top-notch entertainment, you can treat yourself to dinner from the bar menu (hello Chicken Ranch Burger with Frank’s Hot Sauce, homemade slaw, cos lettuce and blue cheese ranch in a brioche bun).
You can order one of their famous birdcages to share too – The Irish Birdcage is a feast of local Irish cheeses: Carrigaline Garlic & Herb, Smoked Gubbeen, Cashel Blue, Ardsallagh Goats’ Cheese, grapes, crackers and fresh strawberries – perfect with a glass of something special from the wine list.
Naturally you’ll be hankering after a pint or a cocktail and No. 76 makes a mean Maker’s Mark Bourbon Old Fashioned and a delicious Silver Tequila Margarita.
Just the thing to get you up and dancing before the night is out.
No 76 is open Monday – Friday 4.45pm until close and Saturday – Sunday 1pm until close and you can book a table for bites before The Rambling House this Saturday here.
