Brought to you by Summer Sing!

SummerSING! Festival 2024 starts in 15 days.

And if you’ve already heard the words ‘I’m boooored’ from your darling offspring, now is the time to nab a place on one of the most action-packed weeks of the school holidays.

This awesome summer festival, happening July 15th to 19th (10am to 2pm daily) at Cork College of FET Douglas Street Campus, is all about giving kids aged five to 15 an unforgettable musical experience.

Think singing, dancing, acting – the whole shebang! It’s a chance to make new friends, belt out their favourite tunes, and maybe even record them in a real recording studio.

With professional equipment and guidance, they’ll have the opportunity to create their own music like never before.

But SummerSing! isn’t just about fun and games (although there will definitely be plenty of those). They’re also passionate about empowering young voices from all walks of life. So whether your kid is a shy singer or a natural-born star who adores the spotlight, there’s a place for them to shine.

At SummerSing, each day is filled with exciting activities.

Children start with fun games and energising warm-ups, followed by creative and musical workshops where they can explore their talents. After lunch, they enjoy team-building activities and dance workshops.

The day ends with a relaxing cool-down session, ensuring they leave happy and fulfilled. With such a dynamic schedule, SummerSing offers an unforgettable experience for every young participant.

“SummerSing! 2024 is more than just a summer camp; it’s a platform for and celebration of young voices allowing them to be heard, recognised, and empowered.” Festival Director, Sinéad Dunphy told Yay Cork.

“We are thrilled to welcome children from diverse backgrounds to join us for a week of creativity, collaboration, and fun all the while being guided by the best in the business – this year promises to be even more memorable with some big plans for even more song recording and international releases of the children’s own work!”
