Big News: The Doggy Cinema is coming to Cork and they’re showing Ratatouille

It’s a dog’s life.
But if your pampered pooch just isn’t content with their weekend walkies and the odd treat, there’s a tailored movie night on the way that’s guaranteed to get their tail wagging.
The Doggy Cinema is coming to Cork on Sunday, June 23rd, inviting Leeside dog owners and their pets to enjoy a movie on the big screen together.
The big evening out kicks off at 5pm at the Marina Market in Ballintemple and all calm and collected doggos are welcome. The film for the night is the 2007 hit Ratatouille, the story of a rat who can cook and makes an unusual alliance with a young kitchen worker at a famous Paris restaurant.
It’s all organised by TopBarkz and The Daily Cavalier Instagram feed, which follows Coco, Juno and Gigi as they test-drive all the coolest dog-friendly walks and trips. All you need to bring is some water and a comfy blanket if your pet doesn’t appreciate sitting on the ground.

“We’ve teamed up with Top Barkz Cork to bring you a doggy cinema in CORK! We are showing Ratatouille!” the organisers announced on social media.
“Please bear in mind the temperament of your dog and whether they would be comfortable visiting the cinema with other dogs and watching a doggy/animal-themed movie on the big screen.”
A ticket is required per human seat (€14 here) so do ensure you have booked enough seats for the humans in your group.
“We ask people to be responsible and respectful towards other dogs, dog owners and make sure to pick up any ‘presents ‘ left by their doggo.” the organisers added.
