Pick your own flowers, then learn how to arrange them at this gorgeous garden workshop

Calling all crafty queens (and kings!).
A new workshop is about to take your floral game from “meh” to “meadow masterpiece” in two shakes of a watering can.
Forget boring floral foam – at The Flowersmith Studio’s new workshops in Glanmire you’ll learn the secrets of creating stunning, natural-looking “Meadow Box Arrangements” that are totally eco-friendly and way more impressive than anything you’ll find at the supermarket.
The best bit? You even get to pluck your own fresh blooms fresh from the garden before the class begins.

Owner of the Flowersmith Studio Kelly O’Sullivan, recognised this week as one of the 100 Faces of Floristry by The Florist Magazine, introduced the idea after noticing that more customers were seeking tactile experiences they could enjoy with friends.
“Our workshops emphasize sustainable techniques and a natural, garden-inspired design style,” Kelly told us.

“You’ll have the unique opportunity to walk our flower field, cutting fresh blooms to use in your arrangements. It’s a wonderful way to be in the moment, having a unique summery experience as you pick your own flowers in our field before creating something beautiful with them—a skill you will use again and again.
“We offer a variety of hands-on classes to suit all abilities, from beginners to advanced floral enthusiasts.
“We also have a new suite of mini workshop packages perfect for private intimate get-togethers, hen parties or corporate team experiences.”
Whether you’re dreaming of a show-stopping centrepiece for your next soirée, or just a little something to brighten your living room (because adulting is hard, treat yo’ self!), these workshops will equip you with the skills to make it happen.
