People are really getting into this free running and coffee club

Running solo can get old fast.
Craving a supportive and motivating kickstart (or restart!) to your fitness journey? Look no further than a welcoming run crew.
Enter The Rundown, a free running club in Cork that caters to all paces and experience levels. Join their weekly group runs, conquer different distances together, and then refuel, rehydrate, and reconnect with post-run coffee chats.
The Rundown, which is free to join, invites runners of all paces and levels to join in and take on various distances each week followed by post-run coffees, chats and refuelling.
All runs are led by the group founders, siblings and CrossFit enthusiasts Leah Leonardi Roche and Raymond Leonardi Roche, both fitness instructors who are taking on the Cork City Marathon this June.
This Thursday, May 23rd you can join The Rundown at 7pm at The Lough for a 6km run.

“This will be laps of the Lough – so a great way to push your pace at the start, recover and maybe even push again at the end! But this one is all about you and your pace!” the organisers said.
The next big event will be on June 15th (12pm) in collaboration with POWER Gym at The Dean Hotel:
“There is no fee to join our club, we are all about community and having an outlet for people to meet like-minded people and progress in running,” they told us.
“People can get involved by following our page and messaging us that they would like to attend the event.”
