The Kilo Sale is en route to Cork (with 5000 unique vintage and preloved pieces)

By Yay Cork May 15, 2024May 13, 2024

This is excellent timing.

Just as we begin the search for this year’s summer gear, a huge Vintage Kilo Sale is arriving on Leeside on Sunday, May 19th.

The Pop-Up Kilo Store will be setting up at the Clayton Hotel, Lapp’s Quay, Cork City from 10am until 3pm, with tonnes of vintage and retro clothes to choose from.

Once you’ve gathered your armful of amazing finds, simply pay for them by weight at a bargain €35 per kilo.

“Let your imagination run wild! Pick and mix as you like.” say the organisers.

“It’s only €35 per kilo, you never know what you will find and you can buy less than a kilo, so if all you can find is a tee that weighs 0.1kg, you only pay €3.50. You can expect a great atmosphere filled with buzzing music, happy faces and tons of awesome clothes.”

If you’ve never been to a kilo sale before, here’s a few examples of what a kilo could nab you:

  • A jacket, t-shirt, shorts and shoes
  • Two branded track jackets
  • Four shirts
  • A pair of denim jeans, a pattern jacket and a pair of Converse

Early Bird Tickets are €2 for the 9am and 10am time slots at this event. All other entry tickets are free.

Tickets need to be purchased via Eventbrite prior to arrival but there’s no need to print your ticket, you can just show it on your mobile on entry. It’s a cashless event so it’s card only too, FYI.
