Beach days ahead: Met Éireann predicts dry, sunny week with soaring temperatures for Cork

Temperatures are set to increase throughout the week.
We may have shivered through our last chilly weekend for a while; Met Éireann is forecasting a “largely dry and settled” week ahead in Cork with high pressure dominating.
After a cloudy start this morning, sunny spells will develop throughout the day with showers becoming isolated and highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees.
Tomorrow, Tuesday will be dry too with hazy sunshine and highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees.
Here’s the skinny on the national forecast up until the weekend: Tuesday night might be a bit drizzly near the coast, but most of us will see clear skies. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with some rain in the west and north, but don’t worry, it should stay dry elsewhere.
The good vibes continue on Thursday and Friday with sunshine popping in and out, and temperatures getting even warmer – we’re talking highs in the teens and maybe even touching 21 degrees on Friday.
There might be a few isolated showers on Friday, but overall, it’s a week to ditch the jacket and soak up some rays.
