Wait: Met Éireann says it will be warm and sunny this weekend as temperatures climb to 18C

We’ll believe it when we see it.
But Met Éireann is teasing some properly pleasant weather this weekend, following a soggy start to spring on Leeside.
While Wednesday started out dry in most places, highest temperatures only ranged from 8 to 12 degrees all day. This will climb to 14C on Thursday and up to 15C on Friday.
Once the working week is over, the weather starts looking a little more promising:
“Most areas will be dry on Saturday with some sunshine at times. Highest temperatures of 12 to 17 degrees with light and variable winds.” said a forecaster.
