Finally: Met Éireann says it will ‘gradually turn drier’ in Cork as the week progresses

We’re fully over the persistent rain, TBH.
But after yet another showery weekend in most parts of Cork, Met Éireann finally has some good news for us as we head into the last weeks of April.
The forecasters say the weather will gradually turn drier as the week progresses, though there will be light showers or patches of rain at times.
And there’s more good news: “After a cool start, it will turn milder later in the week.” said a forecaster.
In the meantime, Monday will be a cool and blustery day with sunny spells and scattered showers. The showers will ease through the afternoon with largely dry conditions by evening and highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees.
“Many places will be dry with sunny spells tomorrow, though a few well-scattered showers will occur. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in moderate to fresh northwest winds.”
Wednesday is looking cloudy with patchy rain, but Thursday and Friday are set to be mild with plenty of sunny spells.
Met Éireann says this weekend will be “milder and largely dry” though it will remain dull and cloudy for many with the chance of isolated light showers.
