This Cork artist just released a cheery print to bid farewell to R&H Hall

It’s out with the old and in with the new.
And as workers continue to dismantle Cork’s iconic R&H Hall building in the Docklands, one Cork artist has been hard at work on a special tribute to the building.
Susan Mulcahy of Saucy Pups is selling a limited run of prints of the towering structure in her signature cheery style.
“As all my proud Corkonians know, our beloved R&H Hall is being slowly demolished before our eyes, sadly changing the skyline of our docklands forever.” the artist said in a social media post.
“I’ve always loved this brutalist, chunky, concrete beast of a building with its deliciously iconic sign, towering above the working port of Cork. It has been an imposing part of our city cape my whole life and now it is being slowly disassembled to be replaced with another modern, glass building. How sad.”

But just because it’s time to say goodbye, doesn’t mean things have to be dreary, right?
Mulcahy has created a bright print of the building that will add a splash of optimistic colour to any corner of your walls.
“I’ve created a limited print run of the iconic R&H Hall, illustrated in my personal style. Hopefully, we can all keep this iconic Cork landmark alive in our homes.” she added.
A total of 44 blue prints, and 44 yellow prints, split between unframed and framed options, are available, each one signed and numbered.
You can nab one for €45 here.
