Locals will be sad to hear this.

A popular coffee and donut shop in Douglas Court Shopping Centre is closing for good this week, due to rocketing costs.

The team behind The Dough Hut took to Facebook today to announce that they will shut down their Douglas Court outlet this weekend.

It’s not all bad news however, the business will continue to run its busy coffee trailer in Douglas Park – much to the relief of parents in the area.

“It is with extreme sadness that we have to say goodbye to our Douglas Court outlet after Sunday 7th.” Lar and Adelaide said.

“Costs have become too high, like we have all seen in everyday life as well as business. We will remain open in Douglas Park and put every effort into making it better.
