This wholesome Italian-inspired food show was filmed in a cosy Cork pub

It’ll be hitting TV screens tonight.
And eagle-eyed viewers of season two of the foodie series The Shared Table on Virgin Media Two will spot that the second episode is set in a well-known Cork bar and restaurant.
TV chef Matt Tebbutt joins presenter Anna Richardson for the Birra Moretti-sponsored celebration of Italian eats, which was filmed in The Anglers in Carrigrohane near Ballincollig.

Filmed across Dublin and Cork, and hosted by Eoghan Doherty, the series captures laughter, genuine shared moments and authentic Italian dishes, paying homage to the Italian ritual of dining together.
BAFTA-winning Cork actress and presenter, Siobhan McSweeney appears in the first installment and the show sees close friends Tebbutt and Richardson enjoy great company and Italian cuisine in Cork for the second episode, which will air on December 4th.
Speaking about his experience filming TV Chef Matt Tebutt, best known for his role on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen said: “I have a longstanding love for Italy and that goes hand and hand with my profound respect for Italian food so when Birra Moretti approached me to participate in the ‘The Shared Table’ it was an instant yes from me.
“Getting to share the screen with Anna made filming all the more memorable. It really is more than another TV show, it gives guests the space to eat, drink, and be merry. We are excited to hear what audiences think.”
The Shared Table premieres on November 27th on Virgin Media Two at 10pm, with the Cork episode screening on December 4th, 2023.
