There’s a magical new Santa’s grotto to visit this year (and tickets are only a tenner)

Tickets go on sale this Saturday.
Located in the picturesque village of Ardfield, between Clonakilty and Roscarbery, The Mountain Forge Lodge will be playing host to some very special guests on Sunday, December 18th from 11am – 7pm.
Open for one day only, The Mountain Forge Santa Experience is a magical (and affordable) family day out for Christmas fans of all ages.
Visitors can expect to be greeted by one of Santa’s very own elves, who will guide you through the elf’s workshop, and show you (and your littles) how to make reindeer food.
You’ll then venture on to meet Mrs. Claus herself in her cozy wooden pod, where there will be music and storytelling taking place throughout the day.

Moving on to the main man, Santa will be taking it easy in the Snow Dome, resting up for the big journey ahead next to a crackling fire, and patiently waiting to hear what everyone would like on Christmas morning.
All children will then get the chance to write letters to Santa, posting them in his magical letterbox, which he will personally bring back to the North Pole.
It’ll be Instagram gold too; The Mountain Forge Santa Experience will also feature a beautiful, lit marquee, complete with hot chocolates and crepes – perfect for browsing stalls full of handmade crafts, wreaths and a selection of second-hand toys
Bookings for Santa Experience will be taken by phone on Saturday, November 12th from 12noon to 4pm. €10 per child. Call 086 063 6702 to book your tickets.
