KindFolk is collecting pre-loved kids’ communion wear in Cork (and you might nab a gift card)

Is that gorgeous gúna gathering dust in the cupboard?
Kids outgrow their clothing fast, but now there’s a way to ensure those adorable pieces don’t go to waste.
An online pre-loved childrenswear shop is running a collection point in Cork this weekend, inviting parents to bring in their used communion clothing to be valued.
Established by Orla O’Connell in 2021, KindFolk is an online space where you can shop for kids’ clothing in a sustainable and meaningful way.
“Buying preloved and past season is an eco-conscious way of shopping our little ones’ wardrobe – we are saving the environment from textile waste by lengthening the lifespan of clothes that already exist (while saving some money along the way!),” says Orla.
As well as communion wear, KindFolk also stocks a full range of everyday clothes, accessories and shoes by well-known brands, all for a fraction of the price you’d pay for them brand new.

Book an appointment and bring your communion wear to Level 1 at Brown Thomas Cork this Saturday, October 8th from 1pm to 4.30pm and if the KindFolk crew thinks they can resell your item, they’ll give you the value of it on a Brown Thomas gift card to spend in any department in the store (terms and conditions apply).
