Movies at the Marina is screening the BEST 90s classic on Halloween Night

Double, double toil and trouble…
If you’re ready to fully immerse yourself in the witching season this year, there’s a brand new Halloween experience happening on Centre Park Road at the end of the month.
The Pop Up Movie Club will present the hilarious cult classic ‘Hocus Pocus’ at their brand new location – the Marina Market.
‘Movies at the Marina’ will see the popular venue transformed into a special Halloween cinema for a spooky screening of the 1993 film, starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy.

In case you’ve forgotten the plot (it was 28 years ago, after all), 300 years have passed since the Sanderson sisters were executed for practicing dark witchcraft. Returning to life thanks to a combination of a spell spoken before their demise and the accidental actions of Max, the new-kid-in-town, the sisters have but one night to secure their continuing existence.
The fun kicks off at 5pm, with a second screening at 7:30pm and tickets available in pods of two, four or six, meaning all the family can attend.
“Seating is provided and a minimal amount of ‘Premium’ seats will be available.” organiser Simon Murdoch told Yay Cork.
“These guarantee seating near the screen and a comfy inflatable ‘air sofa’.”
As per the latest Covid-19 guidelines, vaccination certs will be required on entry and facemasks must be worn on entry and exit. Tickets start at €28 for a pod of two and are available now in limited numbers at popupmovie.club.
