Michael Collins House is offering a free tour on a first-come, first-serve basis later today.
On Twitter, the heritage site wrote: “Today at 3pm we will host another FREE guided talk at Michael Collins Birthplace at 3pm as part of our @HeritageWeek programme. Limited spaces available on a first come first serve basis.”

The house, in Emmet Square, Clonakilty, is dedicated to preserving the history of the struggle for Irish independence from its beginnings leading up to and including the 1798 rebellions all the way through the ages to Michael Collins death towards the end of the Civil War in 1922.
