This new Filipino café serves the most outrageous fluffy creamy cheese buns

Stop what you’re doing and go and get one of these.
A new Cork café has introduced us to a magical Filipino treat that truly is a thing of beauty.
Doing a roaring trade since it opened at the start of the month, Sensai Café is an all-in-one coffee shop, bakery and sushi joint housed in a freshly renovated shop on Dyke Parade.
One of their top takeaways? The ensaymada; soft, buttery sweet dough baked into pillowy brioche-like buns, topped with butter cream and smothered in grated cheese (€2.50 or €10 for a tray of four).
I mean seriously, just feast your eyes on this thing:

The menu also features a mouthwatering range of fresh sushi and plenty of other specials to try, including Filipino barbecue, rice noodles in shrimp sauce, spring rolls, pork and chicken buns.
For dessert, a Halo Halo is a must; this cooling flavoured shaved ice situation is ideal for humid evenings. Super popular in the Philippines, the pretty dessert is made up of crushed ice, condensed milk and sweetened red monggo beans.

If you’ve got room then try the rainbow crepe cake and the ubi roll from the Sensei bakery too or bring some home to devour later.
Sensei Cafe opens at 8am daily with the Sushi Bar from 12 noon.
