There’s a travelling Cork Pride flash parade on its way to a town near you

It’s one of the most important events in the LGBT+ calendar.
But just because large gatherings are off the cards again this year, doesn’t mean the annual Cork LGBT+ Pride Festival Parade is cancelled.
Oh no; this year, the rainbow party is going on tour, bringing a series of mini ‘flash’ parades to Cork’s towns and villages on Sunday, July 25th, 2021 instead.
“Our Flash Parade will be driving through the main streets of Carrigtwohill, Midleton, Fermoy, Mitchelstown, Mallow, Blarney, and Ballincollig, to bring some Pride to rural towns around Cork and highlight some of the fantastic community supports available to you.” said a Pride Festival spokesperson.
Here’s the schedule:
- Carrigtwohill – 11:25am
- Midleton – 11:45am
- Fermoy – 12:35pm
- Mitchelstown – 1:25pm
- Mallow – 2:20pm
- Blarney – 4:00pm
- Ballincollig – 4:40pm
Spectators are asked to follow all recommended social distancing guidelines and show their support safely.
