Cork GAA wants to hear from the parents of newborn babies born in 2021

By Katie Mythen-Lynch June 28, 2021June 28, 2021

Attention, sports-mad mums and dads.

If you’ve welcomed a new addition since the beginning of the year (or your bundle of joy will be arriving before tomorrow) Cork GAA wants to hear from you.

Parents of newborn babies across the Rebel County have been offered the chance to see their baby’s name featured on Cork’s very own walk of fame this summer.

“Sports Direct and Cork GAA are calling on all proud Cork parents to register their newborn baby’s name and show that they are #BornToPlay for the chance to feature on Cork’s very own walk of fame at the start of the Championship.” the GAA announced.

“The Steps to Greatness will invite parents from across Cork to register to be in with the chance of having their newborn baby’s name featured on the walk of fame displayed around the heart of Cork GAA, Páirc Uí Chaoimh, ahead of Cork GAA’s Championship openers this season.”

A total of 35 babies will be chosen to have their names on display at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
