Here’s a lovely gesture.

If you’re one of the essential workers who still need to travel to the city for work every day, Citi Parking is inviting you to park your car free of charge in their car park in Cork City Centre.

“We operate a car park on Patrick’s Quay and haven’t been open since Level 5 restrictions came in.” Kenneth Aherne of Park It Here/Citi Parking told Yay Cork.

“The owners have decided that even though we aren’t able to operate at present that they’d open the car park up for free to those who do need to work over the lockdown and need parking.”

Of course, with the majority of people working from home, finding parking isn’t a major issue right now but taking Citi Parking up on their offer might save you a few quid here and there and every little helps, right?

The offer stands until the Level 5 restrictions end on March 5th, 2021.

The Park It Here car park is located between Patrick’s Quay, Brian Boru Street, Lower Glanmire Road and Ship Street (eircodeT23 NN28).
