Yearning for the soothing sound of classical music?

Triskel and the National String Quartet Foundation have teamed up to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the December birth of Ludwig van Beethoven (1770–1827)… and you can savour a real concert streamed live from the Triskel in Cork to mark the occasion.

There are four performances to choose from: The Vanbrugh Quartet will perform two concerts at the atmospheric venue on Friday, November 20th and Friday, December 4th, followed by the Ficino Quartet on Friday, December 11th.

The series will end on Friday, December 18th with a performance by the brand new 2020 Quartet.

“This year has been one of changes but what hasn’t changed is our commitment to music and artists, and we’re delighted to honour Beethoven during this anniversary year.” said Tony Sheehan, Artistic Director at Triskel.
