Cork Airport has installed a new ‘Human Sanitisation Booth’ in Departures

Making an essential trip this week?
If you’re travelling through Cork Airport you’ll be along the first to use a new Human Sanitisation Booth that has just been installed near the Departures area.
The booths are proven to kill any surface contact pathogens on a person who is entering a site. Once a person enters the tunnel, they are sprayed with an anti-viral solution by a fogging method. Since the liquid turns into a cloud of fog, it reaches micro-organisms in all areas where the fog touches without leaving clothes or skin wet.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the company behind the concept said that Cork Airport is the first airport to give it a go.
“Cork Airport is the first airport to trial our human sanitisation booth to give their staff and passengers a safer environment to travel in,” said a Novid Solutions spokesperson.

Cork Airport will continue to remain open during Covid-19 ‘Level 5’ restrictions.
Ryanair is operating services to London Stansted, Katowice, and Gdansk with a non-Irish based crew, while Aer Lingus will continue its services to London Heathrow and Amsterdam and KLM is still flying to Amsterdam.
