To fill vegan fridges, My Goodness has added some new dishes to their take-home menu

Food; it’s probably the only thing worth getting excited about this week.
But if you’re not the best cook and your vegan repertoire stretches no further than rice and beans, the social distancing restrictions are likely presenting a rather big problem.
Fear not, plant-based foodies.
The My Goodness team is open for business in The English Market (both the Prince’s Street door and the Grand Parade door are open) and they’ve been adding a few new things to the menu to see you through the shutdown.
Bring a bag and take home their hand-pressed corn masa, bean and potato or ‘phishy’ tacos made with tofu, mushrooms, and seaweed.

Add in some pupusa, a thick flatbread from El Salvador, and a carton of nutritious kimchi broth for lunch. There’s a tempeh chipotle black bean chilli too, frozen and ready to pop in your freezer for when you need a hearty dinner during the week.
And there’s greens, so many greens: “We have a fresh order of three different types of kale, spuds, carrots, parsnips, beets, and salad greens just in today,” says owner Virginia O’Gara.
“…and we have our nachos on, probiotic hot chocolate, and a few other bits too. Swing by at a distance, get some grub, and take care of each other.”
