Think your dog could compete at Crufts?

If you’ve always suspected your canine companion might have what it takes to sweep the board at the world’s greatest dog show, now there’s a chance to test out your theory at home first.

Aldi will be selling a complete Dog Agility Course in stores next week, complete with hurdles, a tunnel, a hoop jump and five slalom poles, all in their very own carry bag.

The course can be set up in the garden or the park.

Then, with a pocketful of treats, you can find out if your dog is a champion-in-the-making (or if they’re more likely to be the comedian that botches the jumps and goes the wrong way around the obstacles).

Either way, good times are guaranteed. Agility training is excellent for dog/human bonding and it stops dogs from becoming bored and resorting to destructive habits so it could save you from throwing out another chewed up pair of slippers.

The set is a bargain at €12.99 and it goes on sale in Aldi stores across Cork as part of the supermarket’s Big Pet Event on Thursday, February 20th, 2020.

If nothing else, your dog will love the practice and it’s a decent bit of exercise for humans too.
