Looking for a group get-together with a difference?

If the usual Christmas party menus don’t appeal, an upcoming dinner happening in town at the start of December could be just the thing.

Feed your Senses – Alimenta tus Sentidos – a cosy authentic Spanish restaurant on Washington Street, is hosting a ‘Dine in the Dark’ night to raise funds for the National Council for the Blind of Ireland on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019.

A “gastronomic trip around Spain” will be served to blindfolded guests on the night from 7.30pm until 10pm.

“In the darkness, the meal becomes a remarkable sensory, culinary and fun encounter.” say the organisers, who will be serving some firm favourites from their mouthwatering menu.

This sitting will mark the fourth year of the annual fundraiser, which supports the NCBI in providing a variety of services to support people who are living with sight loss, including advice and counselling, low vision solutions, employment support and a library with a large collection of audio, large print and Braille books.
