Now you can take a Zero Waste Walking Tour of Cork City

The first slot is already sold out.
Now the people behind the Zero Waste Walking Tour of Cork City have added a second tour to the schedule to accommodate the huge interest in the idea.
Two guided tours will now go ahead on Saturday, July 20th, taking participants to the very best places to bulk-buy kitchen essentials and avoid excess packaging on Leeside.
Places are free, with a limited number still available on the 2pm tour, which meets at Bishop Lucey Park on Saturday.
The tour, organised by Cork Zero Waste, takes just over one hour to complete – just enough to give you a decent working knowledge of Cork’s most eco-friendly spots to grocery shop.
If you’re heading along, organisers advise bringing a reusable water bottle and shopping bag as there may be an opportunity to do some shopping along the way.
