Brought to you by The Imperial Hotel.
It’s the ideal end to February.
Wine lovers are snapping up tickets to a luxurious five-course dinner at Sketch in Cork’s Imperial Hotel on Thursday, February 29th.
The tasting menu for the evening is curated by Sketch Head Chef Vasil Baci, with wine pairings selected by Noel Mac Mahon, the fine wine specialist and EuroCave wine cabinet manager with wine importers Febvre Wines.
“Noel is a self-confessed wine nut and magpie for all things vinous and has a wealth of experience in the wine world (having done 18 straight Bordeaux En Primeur vintage campaigns since the stellar 2005 vintage).” an insider told us.
“He will lead the Imperial Hotel patrons on an engaging, interesting, and informative wine journey. He promises not to talk about soil or other such boring nonsense.
“An hour or two in his company will fly by.”

Do note that the restaurant will not be able to cater for any dietary requirements for this event and will not offer an alternative to the dishes on the night.
If that’s fine by you, doors open at 6pm and the event officially starts at 6.30pm, perfect timing for a date night or a cosy get-together with friends before the weekend.
Tickets are €79 plus the booking fee here.
