This pizzeria will give you everything you need to make your own pizza at home
The pros make it look easy.
But if you’re not comfortable with whipping up a batch of pizza dough and a good sauce to go with it, now there’s another way to cheat that homemade pizza taste in your own kitchen.
Pompeii Pizza has just started selling pizza kits containing all the essential raw ingredients for making your own pies.
The house dough is the very same stuff they use in their own famous wood-fired pizzas – all you need to do is roll it out and add your choice of toppings (mozzarella cheese, flour for dusting and tomato sauce are also included in the box).
If you want to experiment with other additions, you can add your own toppings using leftovers from the fridge (sliced ham, sweetcorn… a fried egg, the choice is yours.)
Get rid of the packaging and you could even convince a date you made the whole thing from scratch.

Not only is it a fun way to spend an hour in the kitchen at the weekend, but it’s also handy if you don’t live within the delivery remit of your nearest pizzeria.
The Pompeii Pizza Kits are €8 for a single or €15 for a double.
You can pick them up from us at the Franciscan Well Bar on the North Mall from 3pm until 10pm daily (get in there before 5pm to avoid the queue).
