This elevated outdoor yoga class includes an immersive sound bath on the beach

Summer got you stressed out?
If slogging away in a humid office or ferrying the kids around to a never-ending schedule of holiday activities has you feeling hot and bothered, it’s time to plan some time out.
On Saturday, July 8th, 2023 Grainne Ferreira of Dandelion Yoga and yoga healer Shama are joining forces for a blissful morning of relaxation on Ballybranigan Beach.
First, the class will tap into the wisdom and guidance of the heart while flowing through a heart-centred practice on the sand, pairing the soothing influence of the ocean waves with a calming yet energising stretch.

“Opening the heart and chest region in yoga not only improves posture, but it can also give a boost to our joy and capacity to love,” says Grainne.
Next, Shama will guide guests into an immersive, full-body listening experience that promotes deep relaxation and emotional release through the transformative power of gongs, singing bowls, rattles, drums, chimes, and other beautiful instruments
The event runs from 10am to 12.30pm at Niamh’s Larder on Ballybrannigan Beach and places are €40 here.
