The Ivory Tower is reopening (but only for two special nights)

The last diners were served at The Ivory Tower earlier this year.
But now Cork foodies have a unique chance to try the 25-year-old restaurant once again… if only for two nights this month.
Seamus O’Connell’s iconic city dining room is one of five Cork restaurants that will be serving a special pre-theatre meal experience before Teaċ Daṁsa’s award winning production ‘Swan Lake/Loch na hEala’ at Cork Opera House, from September 10-11th, as part of Sounds from a Safe Harbour festival.
Described as “a bleak and beautiful dream” by The Guardian, the show stars 13 world-class performers, in a production interwoven with storytelling, song, and live music.
The Ivory Tower, reopening especially for the event, will join Good Day Deli, Pigalle, Paradiso, and Isaac’s Restaurant in preparing a tasty pre-theatre dinner for theatregoers.
It all adds up to a very special night out indeed.
You can find tickets for Swan Lake, €30, here, then contact the participating restaurants directly to make a dinner reservation on your chosen night.
Tickets for the Ivory Tower experience, which opens at 5.3pm, are €70 including the show from 085 826 6861.
