Long live the Sweet King.
Sweet King, the wildly successful candy company set up by Cork entrepreneur Nathan Adams, has announced its triumphant return to the confectionery scene.
The company has been successfully acquired by new ownership and is now ready to embark on an exciting new chapter.
It’s been a sticky year for the Sweet King, founded by local influencer Nathan Adams, after it went into liquidation in January. However, it’s looking like it could be a sweet ending after all:
“Under the guidance of passionate and experienced entrepreneurs from Irish Soft Drinks Ltd, Sweet King is poised to recapture its position as a leading provider of delightful confections.” the company said in a statement.

The business will continue its successful online model offering gift boxes as well as American cereals, candy, and funky-flavoured soda drinks.
The team behind the relaunch says they have been working to refine existing recipes, develop exciting new products, and enhance manufacturing processes.
“Today marks an exciting milestone for Sweet King,” they added.
“We are thrilled to reintroduce this beloved brand to the market and begin sharing our passion for exceptional confections with candy enthusiasts everywhere.”
As part of its relaunch, Sweet King will be investing in state-of-the-art production facilities and employing rigorous quality control measures to ensure that “every piece of candy that leaves their premises surpasses the expectations of its esteemed customers”.
