Now might be a good time to start that jigsaw puzzle.
Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for Cork, Connacht, Donegal, Clare, Kerry and Limerick.
Forecasters say we can expect that “heavy and persistent rain overnight Wednesday through to Friday morning will lead to some flooding and disruption.
“Accumulations of 30mm to 60mm are expected widely, with higher values in mountainous regions.”
The warning will remain in place from now until 6am Friday, October 30th, 2020.
It will remain wet and windy this morning with heavy rain at times, although drier intervals may develop through the afternoon and it will be mild and humid with highest temperature of 13 to 15 degrees.
Friday will be mostly dry with sunny spells developing “and just the risk of an isolated shower”.
