Oh hi gorgeous gold rings (Cork brand Ivy’s Attic Jewellery is having a summer sale)

Brought to you by Ivy’s Attic Jewellery.
Everyone loves a new bit of bling.
From a chunky bracelet to a teeny-tiny stud earring, the perfect piece of jewellery can freshen up a simple outfit like nobody’s business.
No surprise then, that one of Cork’s most popular affordable jewellery brands is going from strength to strength, having unveiled yet another new collection of covetable pieces for summer, and the seasonal sale is underway with loads of bestsellers going for a discount if you move fast.
Swing by Cork’s Marina Market on any given weekend and you’ll spot the bright purple Ivy’s Attic Jewellery shop, usually surrounded by a gaggle of vintage fans perusing the beautiful boxes of baubles, on the hunt for new pieces and gifts for mates.
Sean Layton’s carefully curated collection never fails to draw a steady stream of fans, all seeking high-quality jewellery, sourced from select suppliers in Ireland and abroad, that is both affordable and sustainable.
“I really can’t believe how far Ivy’s Attic has come in two short years,” Sean told Yay Cork.
“I started it as a hobby with my sister during lockdown when I was going through quite a difficult period in my life. I never would have dreamed that it would develop into a proper business.”
But develop it has; after the runaway success of the Ivy’s Attic Touch of Gold collection (classic, new vintage-inspired jewellery designed for fans to pair with their vintage treasures) broadened the appeal of the brand even further last year, this summer Sean is giving the people more of what they want.
With a celestial feel and a hint of pearl in some pieces, the new summer collection builds on the Touch of Gold theme, with a beautiful range of rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, finished in a very high-quality 18-carat gold plating, for long-lasting sparkle.
The brand’s stunning campaign images were shot by local photographer Louis Tang with model Lauren Corcoran and styled by Amy O’Donovan with make-up by Jane Layton and clothing from Itso Me Boutique in Douglas.
“We have had customers in almost all the counties of Ireland and have shipped to five continents so far. We have also established a really strong business at the Marina Market and have the most amazing, loyal customers,” says Sean.
“I’ve gone from doing everything myself to employing a small team, as well as working with great local creative talent to help to elevate the brand. I am so grateful for all the support so far and I’m really excited for the future of Ivy’s Attic Jewellery.”
