Booking opens today so be quick.
Michelin-starred chef Tom Brown is taking over the kitchen at Cork restaurant 51 Cornmarket at the end of the month for a one-night-only pop-up on Thursday, October 30th.
Originally from Cornwall, Brown honed his craft under Rick Stein and Nathan Outlaw, rising to Head Chef at Outlaw’s Michelin-starred restaurant in London. He debuted as a restaurateur with Cornerstone in Hackney Wick and later helmed Pearly Queen, his acclaimed Shoreditch oyster and seafood bar, which mysteriously shut with no explanation last week.
“Typing this through very excited fingers…for one night only, the incredibly impressive chef Tom Brown will be taking up residence in 51 Cornmarket with Paddy Maher (head chef at The Pearly Queen in Shoreditch),” co-owner, chef Anne Zagar, who runs the eatery with husband David Devereaux announced on Instagram.

“It is such a privilege to have these guys come explore this city, meet with our suppliers and then do a little cooking. We’re buzzing to have you guys over and looking forward to a proper pint of the black stuff… Beamish. It’s a Cork thing.” she added.
