Met Éireann says temperatures will soar to a balmy 20C in Cork this week

There’s a warm and hazy week ahead.
After a miserable weekend, Met Éireann is forecasting spring temperatures of up to 20C in Cork this week, kicking off with a dry and gloriously sunny Monday.
It will be dry and clear at night, with lows dipping to zero to five degrees overnight and a risk of frost in places, but Tuesday will be another dry and mostly sunny day with highest temperatures of between 14 to 18 degrees.
According to the national forecaster, Wednesday will bring more sunshine and maximum temperatures of 13 to 19 degrees – ideal for getting the most out of your daily exercise while Covid-19 restrictions continue.
“Wednesday night will be dry and clear in the south and west, a little more cloud elsewhere with isolated drizzle or mist, lows of 5 to 9 degrees in light variable breezes.” say forecasters.
On Thursday, early mist and spots of drizzle will clear to a mostly dry day with highs of 16 to 20 degrees.
