One of Cork’s most marvellous bakeries has opened a second pâtisserie on Parnell Place

They make Cork’s most delicious croissant.
And now there’s another opportunity to visit Cameron Bakery, of Washington Street fame; they just announced the opening of their second bakery in Parnell Place.
The French pâtisserie and boulangerie offers mouthwatering selections of bread, pain au chocolat, éclairs, Paris-Brest, as well as delicious homemade sandwiches in the city.
In fact, it’s not unusual to see queues of people at the door on a typical Saturday morning or weekday lunchtime.
The announcement comes after somewhat of a delay earlier this year; the bakery told customers on social media that staffing shortages and difficulties in getting equipment meant they weren’t able to open their doors until this week.
But oh boy are we glad they have. We never like to be too far from an almond croissant.
