Craving a few hours to spend on yourself?
Paper craft expert Sachiko will be leading a group of grown-ups through the gentle and peaceful art of origami at Myo Café on Wednesday, November 29th, 2019.
If you’re feeling the pressure ahead of the Christmas countdown, this class couldn’t come at a better time: the focused meditation of practicing origami can help you to de-stress and let go of perfectionism.
Studies show that the folding movements can also improve concentration, dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
With everything you need supplied on the night, Sachiko will be teaching simple, festive designs so students can make their own Christmas trinkets to display and gift this year (imagine the possibilities for the Christmas dinner napkins).
The class is strictly for adults only so book a babysitter for the kiddos and carve out some creative time for yourself in the middle of the week.
Kick off is 7pm at Myo Cafe on Pope’s Quay and they’ll be serving mulled apple juice to everyone as they work to ensure a Christmassy atmosphere.
Tickets are €10.85 per person and you can book your place here.
