Ever wondered how a play is produced?
Curious as to how books are published, how dance performances are created, or how sound quality varies between venues?
A new Cork podcast will delve into the wonderful world of the arts, speaking with the talented folk who seamlessly make performances happen and bring the magic to life on stage and page.
Triskel Backstage, which is hosted by Eimear O’Brien from Lunasa PR and Gillian Hennessy from Triskel Arts Centre, goes behind the scenes with arts workers to discover why they do what they do and what the experience has taught them.
The first Triskel Backstage episode, which features an interview with artistic director and dance curator Ríonach Ní Néill, is available to listen to now.
A new podcast will air every two weeks and will feature interviews with a wide range of art workers including Max Le Cain, experimental filmmaker, Conor Coyle, TicketSolve, Caoimhe Fox, marketing and publicity manager, New Island Books, Michelle Carew, arts officer with Cork City Council, Chloe Nagle, sound engineer and Anna Marie Coughlan, development and partnership Manager in the Everyman.
Triskel Backstage can be found on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and on the Anchor App.
