A new city wellness festival offers Yoga, healing and dance – all for kids in Gaza

It’s an all-day event.
A group of local artists and activists have joined forces to host a monthly wellness festival aimed at raising money for children in Gaza.
The first instalment of the Rebel Wellness Festival is happening on Sunday, October 5th at ORKA on Bishop Street in Cork City with a day of yoga, breathwork, sound healing, and workshops – culminating in a big ecstatic dance celebration to bring it all together.
The day begins at 9am with Yoga and continues for 12 hours – you can check out the line-up here.
“Most importantly, this is about giving back.” one of the organisers, Stella Temiraeva, told Yay Cork.
“All proceeds go towards supporting children in Gaza who urgently need prosthetics. As you may know the children of Gaza are now the largest cohort of child amputees in the entire world.”
