5 of the most delicious Cork Valentine’s Day feast boxes to book now

Staying in is the new going out.
And this week, Cork’s most creative chefs have been working overtime to create Valentine’s Day meal experiences that bring the romantic restaurant vibe home.
From a waffle and pancake brunch with bubbles to a five-course gourmet feast, this year you can order everything to go on Sunday, February 14th.
While we do hope the candlelit restaurant is back on the agenda next year, celebrating in your living room does have its benefits: there’s no need for a babysitter or a taxi home and you can mark the occasion in your PJs.
Here are five brilliant fancy food boxes that are guaranteed to impress the love of your life:
1. THE BOOZY PANCAKE BRUNCH
Down on Washington Street, Dwyer’s is packing up their pancake and waffle sharing board so fans can enjoy it at home – with all the toppings.
Their Valentine’s Brunch Box (€60) is available for collection on Saturday, February 13th so there’ll be no need to leave the house on Valentine’s morning. Each box serves two and you can add in a couple of bottles of Prosecco or a mix of Dwyer’s best-selling cocktails or go for an alcohol-free option.
Get your order in before Friday morning by sending them a DM on Instagram or Facebook.

2. THE FANCY FIVE-COURSE FEAST
Fresh from their sell-out pop-up dinners on a cliff edge in West Cork, local chef, Davitt Conroy and his wife Anna are launching a new weekly Meal Box – launching just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The five-course heat-at-home menu features an amuse bouche of Butternut Wellington and Glensallagh Gardens Italian kale lemon parmesan, ‘Grilled and Chilled Scallops’ with wakame salad to start and a ‘Turf and Surf’ main course: 12oz Twomeys Black Angus Loin Steak, grilled langoustine with lime and garlic, grilled asparagus, sweet potato puree and chimichurri.
Wowza.
The Valentine’s Day box is €75 with subsequent menus priced at €60, available in a limited quantity weekly with pickup points from Schull to Cork City. Check out the full menu and place your order here.
